This game just feels good, and it's super flexible for achieving different tones, genres. Want to keep running it with new characters, and see how pairs of couples do with it
I recently played this game with my friend and it was so much fun! I'm already trying to get another group of friends together to play the 4-people version as well.
My partner and I had good fun playing this - he was a paranoid former soldier exiled because of a doppelganger plot, I was 128 shapeshifting rats in a trenchcoat trying to pass as human, in a marriage approved and facilitated by the local Duke for Very Complicated Reasons that I swear make sense in context.
Through extreme unluck we somehow maxed out Suspicion in just three turns(!) so it's a really great thing that the Boiling Point allows for a comeback! The mechanics feel solid despite the simplicity and it really allows for flexibility in roleplaying. (We did end up winning and uncovering the aforementioned doppelganger plot in the end!)
